Hotel Abando Bilbao

The hotel had a good location, right in the city center close to major attractions and public transportation. The rooms were comfortable and calm, providing a peace all around for a good night's sleep.

The bathroom was a letdown. The sink was too low and uncomfortable to use, and there was no counter space or shelves for toiletries.

Ideal location, close to old town, shopping district, and Guggenheim museum. Metro station nearby. Amazing breakfast with a variety of options. Room equipped with fridge and tea/coffee making facilities.

Absolutely nothing.

Text: During my recent stay in a hotel in Bilbao, I was pleased to find that the hotel's location was convenient for exploring the city. It was within walking distance to popular attractions such as the Guggenheim Museum and the Old City area. The room I stayed in was surprisingly spacious, a pleasant surprise considering the price. The staff at the hotel were also very helpful and willing to assist with any questions or requests that I had. Although there was some pedestrian noise from the nearby bar area, it did not significantly affect my overall experience. The bathroom in the room was also quite large and the hot water was almost instant. The hotel also offered free Wi-Fi and had both CNN and BBC News available on the TV.

We were pleasantly surprised by the central location of this hotel, situated in the heart of a lively street with plenty of great restaurants and tapas bars. We felt safe and secure thanks to the area being well-lit and peaceful at night. The staff at the reception desk were friendly and very helpful, providing us with a warm welcome drink upon arrival. Our room amenities were of high quality and we appreciated the tea and coffee facilities as well as the ironing facilities.

We highly recommend this place to all travelers looking for quality services and enhanced comfort.

The hotel is in a great central location, close to everything downtown. It is conveniently situated near various attractions, including a historic square on the corner. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with comfortable beds, a mini bar, and a coffee and tea setup. The bathroom is large and boasts a lovely and big shower. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts offer a wide selection of delicious options.

The walls in the rooms are not soundproof, so noise from neighboring rooms and the corridor can be heard.

As backpackers, we loved the central location of the hotel, surrounded by great bars and restaurants. The room was very comfortable, with a complimentary kettle provided. The hotel staff were very helpful and the area felt safe and quiet. The hotel is also conveniently located near transport, sightseeing spots, shopping areas, and the Guggenheim museum.
